Supportive, Beautiful Rings for Sensitive Joints
Handmade wire rings designed to stay comfortable through swelling, stiffness, and changing finger sizes, without looking medical.
Wire By Jess creates thoughtfully designed, adjustable rings for people who want beauty and comfort. Each piece is handcrafted to move with your body, offering gentle support during arthritis flare-ups, joint sensitivity, recovery, or everyday swelling.
These are not rigid bands. They are lightweight, flexible rings designed for real hands and real bodies.
What Makes These Rings Supportive
Traditional rings are rigid. When fingers swell or stiffen, they can feel tight, painful, or impossible to wear.
Wire By Jess rings are different.
Adjustable by approximately half a ring size up or down
Lightweight wire construction that reduces pressure points
Designed to accommodate swelling and size fluctuation
Supportive without immobilizing
Elegant, non-medical appearance
They are meant to be worn comfortably throughout the day — even when your hands change.
Handcrafted With Care
Each ring is made by hand using 16-gauge non-tarnish gold or silver vermeil wire, chosen for its balance of strength and flexibility.
Individually handcrafted
Wire-wrapped detailing
Lightweight and durable
Designed to feel secure without feeling restrictive
No two rings are exactly the same — each one reflects the hand that made it.

General joint sensitivity
These rings do not replace medical devices, but they offer gentle, wearable support while allowing freedom of movement.
Custom Sizing & Fit
Every ring is made to order.
You’ll select your ring size before purchase so the ring can be shaped specifically for you. While the design allows for small adjustments (about half a size larger or smaller), starting with the correct size ensures the most comfortable fit.
Because each piece is custom made, accurate sizing is important.
More Than Jewelry
These rings were created to support people navigating changing bodies — without sacrificing beauty or personal style.
They are simple, intentional pieces meant to feel like companions: steady, adaptable, and quietly empowering.

FAQs
Are these rings good for arthritis?
1
Many customers choose these rings because the adjustable wire design allows for comfort during swelling and joint sensitivity. They are designed to reduce pressure and accommodate changes in finger size while maintaining a refined, non-medical look.
Are these rings adjustable?
2
Yes. Each ring is designed to be adjustable by approximately half a ring size larger or smaller. This allows the ring to accommodate mild swelling or changes in finger size throughout the day while still feeling secure.
Because each ring is custom made, starting with the correct size is important for comfort and fit.
How do I measure my finger at home?
3
You can easily measure your ring size at home using a strip of paper, a pen, and a ruler.
Here’s how:
Cut a thin strip of paper (about ¼ inch wide).
Wrap the paper snugly around the base of the finger where you plan to wear the ring.
Use a pen to mark where the paper overlaps.
Lay the paper flat and measure the length in millimeters using a ruler.
Use a standard ring size chart to convert that measurement to your ring size.
For best results:
Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest.
Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold.
If you are between sizes, sizing up slightly is often more comfortable.
What material are the rings made from?
4
These rings are made using 16-gauge non-tarnish gold or silver vermeil wire.
The wire has a brass core and is coated with silver that complies with REACH and RoHS standards, as well as the EU Nickel Directive. This ensures the material is considered safe and minimizes the risk of irritation.
That said, the wire is not solid sterling silver. If you have known sensitivities to certain metals, this is something to consider before purchasing.
